Justine Sweetman is a creative producer and filmmaker based in Queens, NY.  She is the founder of Real New Collective, a production company and film collective that centers new creative voices.

Her work has been featured on NOWNESS, Short of the Week, and Vimeo Staff Picks, and has shown at festivals including BFI Flare, HollyShorts, Atlanta, and Outfest.

She is passionate about supporting emerging artists and has helped develop several breakout films. These include How To Raise A Black Boy by Justice Jamal Jones (Filmmaker to Watch Award at Atlanta Film Festival, Emerging Black LGBTQ+ Filmmaker Award at Newfest) and As You Are by Daisy Friedman (Collin Higgins Youth Filmmaker Grant at Frameline, NYWIFT Emerging Filmmaker Award at Newfest). She recently unit production managed the feature film In Transit by Jaclyn Bethany.

She has also collaborated with notable outlets and brands such as Paramount, PAPER, Club Monaco, and Vespa.

Outside of producing, she has worked extensively in community-centered mutual aid and in advocacy for freelance creatives in New York City.
